Melos Han-Tani of Analgesic Productions just released the first volume of After Journey's End, a new game design journal! I submitted a piece, along with a bunch of other cool creators! Toby, Sylvie, and Dari are all writers and gamedevs I was already a fan
of, so getting to write alongside them makes me happy. And the
other creators' thoughts are really interesting too; I want to check out their work down the line.
The pieces are a cool look into the practical day-to-day practical minutia of making games, in bite-sized essay format. It's a nice alternate flavor from the usual two hour armchair criticism video essays you get on youtube. I'm excited for more volumes to be released in the future!
